Mr. Demlow brings a diverse blend of experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial banking, and business ownership to the MelCap Partners team. Since 1990, Mr. Demlow has held numerous positions within the commercial banking industry, starting out as a bank examiner for the Ohio Department of Commerce, and later gaining experience in the private sector in acquisitions, commercial credit analysis, asset-backed securitizations, subordinated debt financing, and regulatory reporting. As a result of these experiences, Mr. Demlow has developed a unique combination of analytical skills, knowledge of various industries, and effective management of client relationships.  

Prior to joining MelCap Partners, Mr. Demlow was involved in the ownership and operation of MTD Coffeehouse, Inc., a chain of independent coffeehouses located in Medina and Ashland, Ohio.  Mr. Demlow helped the company expand its sales through acquisition and start-up locations.   Prior to MTD, Mr. Demlow was the Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions for Proforma, a franchiser of printing and promotional products distributorships with approximately 600 franchise owners in the United States and Canada.   Mr. Demlow helped to successfully complete approximately 100 acquisitions for the benefit of Proforma franchise owners. Prior to Proforma, Mr. Demlow was Vice President of Third Capital Associates, an acquisition subsidiary of Third Federal Savings in Cleveland, Ohio. As Vice President, Mr. Demlow was actively involved in the acquisition and integration of two savings and loan institutions, one sub-prime mortgage company, and he assisted in the development of Third Federal's strategic plan. Prior to Third Capital Associates, Mr. Demlow was Assistant Vice President of Signal Corp, a holding company for Signal Bank, N.A., in Wooster, Ohio. Mr. Demlow was active in the acquisition of several rival bank branch offices and two specialty finance companies. In addition, Mr. Demlow was responsible for preparing consolidated financial reports in compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission regulations.

Mr. Demlow obtained a BSBA in Finance from The University of Akron and holds an MBA from Kent State University. Mr. Demlow was born on April 17, 1968, has been married since 1994, and has two children. He is active in St. Francis Xavier Church, and enjoys coaching youth baseball and flag football in Medina .
